As this is a personal site for me (Jakob Ilves), the need for a help page is somewhat questionable. I have, however, not gotten around to eliminate that left hand link called 'help', so I better write something to avoid a completely useless link.

This site and it's contents are maintained rather sporadically. Also, as Swedish is my native language (and I live in Sweden), this site will contain contents in both English as well as Swedish, and the Swedish documents will probably not exist in a translated English version and vice versa, the English documents will probably not have a Swedish translation! These two basic facts might cause the contents and pages to seem a bit difficult to overview and/or follow. If you fail to recognize a logical pattern in this site's organization, the fault is not necessarily with you, it might be the case that this site actually lacks such a logical pattern. I would, of course, love to accomplish making such a pattern a reality (and maybe I already have!) but the limited time I have for this site does not make that an absolute priority (the top priority is to provide an option for me to create internet facing notes about things at all).

Also, as this site is run using the nice Mediawiki software (the very same software which the legendary Wikipedia is run on) and I have not managed to customize (bastardize?) this particular Mediawiki installation that much (very little actually) this site should have quite a few features in common with Wikipedia. Very basic features, as this site is very small (and Wikipedia is huge). I'm not certain though if this site is a perfect showcase of what can be done using the Mediawiki product, there are probably far better sites for that. But for just 'getting stuff published on teh internets' (sic) Mediawiki definitively fits the bill.

I recommend that you don't blindly trust the timestamps on this system. For an unknown reason, I have not managed to get the clock to run properly on this box (efforts to use ntp notwithstanding), it is off with a couple of hours.
